Prof. Dr. Adiel Tel-Oren                                                                              President Emeritus, University of Natural Medicine, Santa Fe NM.                                            Physician and well known expert in the field of scientific nutrition

Rabbi Moshe Rafael is an inspiring man with a vision. His ability to integrate tradition with science is highly commendable.Today's health care environment, which frequently ignores the wisdom of our fourerunners. The   concepts of Jewish medicine as practiced by the RAMBAM (Maimonides) not only bring us closer to  our natural, god-given health, but   . also bring us to a deeper connection with our Earth and our land and to a deeper understanding of the working of Nature. Moshe Rafael's innovative approach to health care, focusing on the best that Natural Medicine can offer today with its modern scientific principles, in conjunction with the traditional medicine of Jewish teachings, is extremely refreshing, making natural, nutritional, herbal, and preventive medicine accessible to both traditional and secular people. Rabbi Moshe Rafael has proven himself to be a pioneer in his field, a great educator, and a gifted promoter of ideas whose time has come. I have rarely met a person with his level of commitment and motivation". His work exemplifies not only important Jewish history but also holds relevance in medical applications today. I find both the accomplishments and compassionate personality of Moshe, as well as his school, a refreshing look into the non conventional approaches available for medical use. It is very important that we continue to support his outstanding contribution to our heritage so that we may enjoy this most unique medical system. It is also important that we do formalized studies in several areas that have been proposed in the 13th century works to help us validate its current usefulness within the modern medical paradigm ".
